The seven "pros" greatly outweigh the three easily dealt-with "cons.  And the before and after photos of the author are a strong 8th reason to shave one's head :

Great article.  I don't know what the ACM is, but that guy looks 100% better.

I don't know either.  I'm guessing it's not the Academy of Country Music.   :D

It's something to do with computers, but I couldn't find anything that gave any clues as to what the initials actually stand for.
