Hey fellow slys, haven'y been here much in the past month or so,, it's been crazy.

11-14-08 I had a MTA bus take me out. Totaled my Safari van. I have been fousing on trying to find something to replace it.

Well she decided she wanted my lane,, so she came over, forcing me into a pole.

I know you had stated in another post that van ment alot to you. However try and keep the perspective that steel and tires can be replaced....YOU cannot!! Most important thing is you are ok and we are all very happy that is the case.

Thanks everyone!!  I did really like the Safari, It was AWD, great snow vehicle, paid for  a very long time,  the first vehicle that we bought together as a couple, and was a pretty good tow vehicle. I finally found a half decent 1996 GMC K1500 Suburban that I was able to buy with the insurance money.

Tom, been there recently.  Steel can be replaced.  You cannot.

Boy, I can relate to your accident!  3 years ago, I was hit head on by a car that crossed into my lane.  I am glad that it wasn't a bus.  But stuff like that is really scary.  My car was totaled and my left wrist was broken.  I work warehouse, so it put me out of work for over 2 months.  But I am glad that you came out of it ok.
