Last night when I was leaving work, it was dark, I realized that my gas light was on. I was almost completely empty and apparently did not notice the light in the day time. When gas was soaring I kept the tank full most of the time since one fill-up cost me like $55.00, but since the price has fallen I sorta quit paying attention.
Anyway, I pulled to the pump, started pumping gas while I was talking on my phone.... was a distracting chick... and then the nozel clicked. I looked and it said $22.94, so I figured the pump stopped prematurely (hate when that happens ;D) but when I pulled the lever again it stopped immediately. I was shocked to see gas at $1.61 a gallon.
Funny thing is I got pissed because I thought to myself, did we find a major new pocket of oil in the US?? I mean wtf was all this crap when the economy headed to china?
Say what you want but I bet Exxon has another banner year for profit...... rat bastards!! :Xo!

Other people must know I'm the #1 PA driver because they're always waving 1 finger as I pass them. The gas crunch was really letting my fans down.

Well since the MTA bus forced me into a pole and totaled the Safari van,, I have been looking for a replacement, I am going to look at a '98 Suburban Saturday,, with a 42 gal tank :/O :/O :o :o so until gas comes down to $.50 a gallon,, I won't have to worry about competing in this contest.

It's $1.65 around Griffin. I read on FoxNews.com that they are saying gas could be BELOW $1/gallon by early next year.
Oil is coming down because of decreased demand in China and the US. Oil could be below $25/barrel soon.

I heard taht this morning myself GAS....taht would just totally rock my world.

Unfortunately we pay so much in duty here it will never come down that much. 80% of the cost goes to government in duty and VAT. I hate this government

Gas near my house is $1.67 today, in San Francisco, and I've heard stories of $1.29 gas in the midwest (for 85 octane I suppose.)
Not that it benefits me any, I take public transit.

That's the same price it was in Maui when I was there 5 years ago. When I was there 2 years ago it was over 3.25 I believe.

Greetings: I drive a tin can on wheels (aka hyndai 2 dr accent); if a car says a lot about its owner, then I'm both petite & cheap! It cost 10.50 to fill up about the end of the year. I'll never see that again. I felt like I was in a time warp circa 1979. Only no 8 track!
