Hey WTBB!

There are a couple other topics on this very subject, but the biggest thing is to dress comfortably in what you like.  It's easy to fall into the trap of dressing in all the latest trends, but then you just look like you're trying too hard.

Find a couple different styles and try them out... then what ever you like, get more of the same.  Mix it up with different colors, cuts, etc and go from there.

For example, whenever I go out, I typically wear some type of short sleeve button up with jeans.  Always untucked though...  I vary the look with different colored/patterned shirts and a little different style of jeans (carpenter, distressed, black, etc).  Add in a stylin' black leather jacket (if you live in colder areas), and you're good to go...

But everyone will give a little different advice... but find what you like and are comfortable in.

hey man,

If you look in another post I have created, there is this idea that wearing colourful sweaters (and I guess t-shirts as well) will make you appear warm.   So try buying sweaters that are really red or really blue you know that kind of thing.     But it depends on what you want.  Do not wear shirts that are too small because they will make your legs look big.  Do not wear shirts that are way too long because they will make your legs appear smaller.   If you wear tight shirts you will appear that you weigh less.  If you want people to think you are heavier than you actually are then don't wear tight shirts.

Does anybody really wear sweaters anymore?  I have a closet full of sweaters that I never wear because I just get too hot with them.

lol Razor.  I live in Canada so sweaters are my only option for the next 3 to 4 months.  I thought in the States it's similar until the end of February at least, so that's why I thought of sweaters.

for the small shirts long legs , it looks like a weird idea/suggestion but it's true.  Just watch people who wear small shirts, you will think they have too "long" of legs for that body.   Fashion experts mention this so it's not my idea.   O0
It's like you know they tell women if you wear tight pants it will make your legs appear smaller, whereas non tight pants make them appear with big legs.   Ever notice that in a woman?

OK,  you're talking about the length of the shirt.  I was trying to figure out how squeezing into medium instead of a large shirt would make my legs look bigger.   ;D

It depends on how she's built.  A woman with thunder-thighs isn't going to look any slimmer in tight pants.  And someone who's abnormally thin actually looks better in clothing that's a bit looser.

lol, yeah that wouldn't work.  I'm sorry for my english.  It tends to be confusing as people having pointed it out to me.......it's my 3rd language.

Well a woman in thunger-thighs mostl likely will not look good in any pants unfortunately.   The thin ones look better in clothing that's loose because it makes their legs appear to the average size, which the eye sees frequently and hence consideres good looking.

Don't apologize.  Your English is fine; I didn't realize it wasn't your native tongue.  Didn't mean to nitpick.

Bro I live on the Canadian East Coast, and we get some of the coldest winters. But I haven't worn a sweater since I was 9 and I even went without a winter jacket for three years in high school because I got too hot.

The problem trying to respond to this is I have no idea what you look like, except a old monk in tibet.
Have you shaved your head yet?
Are you a alien?? Purple skin with red eyes?  Colors could clash if you are.
Just sayin...  ???

Well let me put it simply.. as the father of a 16 year old daughter. Dress the way a young man SHOULD dress. Not like some gang-banger A-Hole. I once had a young guy who wanted to see my daughter come to my door, pants low, boxers showing, ball cap on sideways you know the typical gang-banger crap. I told him if he ever walked on my property again he needed to show up dressed appopriately. Apparently he never figured out what I ment as he hasn't been back. And I'm not really crazy about the Goth look that seems to be so popular (God himself only knows why).

What I think the romanticism is what attracts so many people to it.
