Title: Snow, winter, frozen everything.
Post by: Mclovin on November 21, 2008, 07:28:06 PM
Just the start of this thing they call winter. I hate it. It is so cold and dark when you get up, dark when you come home. Going on the wonderful P.A. TURNPIKE coming to toll booth to get my ticket my window would not go down FROZEN! Brothers of the bald how many of you really like this time of the year? Please if you live in a climate that has none of this don't gloat.

No gloat here.  Actually pretty cold today.  Never got out of the 30s and the low tonight is going to be 20.
This is more like January weather for GA.  Stay warm!!!!

It was cold here today and as well as tonight.  Today it never got above 33 and tongiht the low of 17.  Too cold for this time of year.  It is almost like we have went from Fall to Winter in just a matter of days.  A little over a week ago we were still wearing shorts from time to time.  I like winter, but not as much as late spring.   All I wish for is SNOW on Christmas.  ANy other time, can live without it.

I live in Canada so we are used to cold weather.
Personally, I really like short days.  I like to have more dark hours because
I sleep better.  I don't like the month of June when I can only get 5 dark hours
of sleep.    Furthermore, I like change.  If it's hot everyday then you know it gets boring.
Of course what sucks in winter is yeah you can't go outside and enjoy life.   :(

I love winter, but if there is still snow on the ground in May I start to hate it.  But then again, don't live in Montana if you aren't willing to see snow every month of the year.  This year we got snow in the valleys every month except July and August.  It was a short summer.

Yeah, cold here in the mountains of NY this am. Just got up awhile ago and it's in the teens and windy and I see we got a small dusting of snow last night. Suppose to be wind chills all day in the single digit numbers....the older I get the more I hate the cold.... :Xo!

That's getting pretty cold for the south this time of year. Glad we're not alone in the cold. It was 20 degrees and several inches of snow this morning here in Ohio. Well, our Hot Tub is up to 101 degrees and the wife and I are ready to get in now. It's a lot more fun when it's cold with a lot of snow around!

Guess I'm one of the "weird" ones.  I love winter time.

It's pretty much done the same here in my area.  Skipped fall all together.  No snow yet but I'm loving it.

Love the cold, love the winter.  I would do away with summer if I could and go right from Spring to Autumn.   My love for winter hasn't changed for the 57 years I have been on this planet.  Give me COLD and SNOW.  You can always put on enough clothes to be comfortable.   Can't take enough off (legally) to cool down in hot, humid summers.

nice and sunny here today but it is still cold.  Not as cold as it has been.  I am like Paul, you can only legally take off so much clothes to stay cool in the summer time.  Now I know why I would like to have a house out in the middle of no where...so I can legally be cool, LOL
