So a little more about me:

I've been a bald watcher for probably 12 years (i'm 27)... I started buzzing around age 19 and did my first shave at 21.  At that time I had a pretty bad scar on my head and got some surgery done to have it removed.  After that time - I felt very confident having very short hair..I've always been on again/off again with shaving.  To date, I've only had my hair cut by someone else 1 time in the past 3 years and have either buzzed short or shaved it.  My alternative cuts would be a HnT, a bald fade, recon or occasional mohawk - but I like the look, feel and ease of being tightly cropped or smooth.  My only problem with shaving is I can't do it everyday.  I have a thick head of hair and it's stubborn... so a daily shave would only leave me with the option of going with the grain (which I do sometimes).

My regimen:  I've tried it ALL.  But lately I use a fresh Mach-III with Dr. Bronner's Almond Magic Soap (it only has almond, olive and coconut oils) - doesn't clog the razor and makes for a nice, slick, irritation-free shave.  I do it right in the shower.    I'll often follow up with coconut lotion (during dry skin times) or witch-hazel (during the sweatier months).

People are used to me with a shaved head, so I don't get reactions anymore.  I used to worry about getting reactions, but there are far more important things in life to worry about.
