Title: Shave Gel Hot Lather Machine by Noner (with pictures!)

This time with pictures!

I received the Shave Gel Hot Lather Machine from the Sharper Image as a Christmas present from one of my lay-days, so I finally decided to break it open and give it a whirl.

To hook up the gel took a little getting used to because you have to remove the plastic cap from the gel can (which you can do with a quarter) and then insert it straight into the warming unit. I must say straight! If not, you will trigger the gel and make a big mess inside the warming unit and all over your handsâ€¦â€¦.according to a friend of mine.

The Hot Lather machine plugs right into the wall, but please make sure the water is turned off so you don't get zapped!

The Hot Lather Machine has temperature settings right on the unit. As far as the temperature gauge goes, I keep in on 3 quarters to high. Itâ€™s not a super-warm gel, but any higher and the gel gets too foamy and full of bubbles.

Now simply press down on the button and get the party started!

Notice in the picture above that I hold underneath the nozzle. This is because if you press too hard on the button, the unit will fall over into the sink.

Overall, this item works well to keep the gel constantly warm so you donâ€™t put that cold gel on your noggin during those freezing winter morning shaves. In all fairness, it will not be as hot (even on the hottest temperature) as the one the barber has. Another setback is that even though the unit takes up only slightly more space than your regular gel can, you canâ€™t just throw it in a drawer.

If you shave in the cold mornings like I do, would grab one of these puppies. They make for a nice shave, are not really expensive (about 30 bucks or 2 packets of fusion razor 4 packs) and it looks pretty cool on my bathroom sink.
