What's up my Sly Bros. Thank God I too received a call out of the blue the other night for an interview. I went and was hired. Couldn't have came at a better time either. Nothing fancy but a good start to get back out there. It's with a wholesale club kind of like Sam's Club but, in my opinion, way more family oriented. It's called BJ's Wholesale Club. I'm going to be an overnight stocker. This way I can continue to take care of my son during the day plus help get us back on track. From the way the interview went it sounds like a great company to work for. The guy that interviewed me had just left Wal-Mart about a year before because they would not allow him enough time off to take care of his wife who had cancer. So he got a job in HR with BJ's. Of course starting off he didn't have vacation right away. They still allowed him time off with some pay to take care of his wife. Now that's the kind of company I've been looking for to start a new career with. He said since he's been there they haven't disappointed or went against anything they told him up front. Hopefully I'll get the same treatment.
