When I decided to start shaving my head I realized that the $20 clippers that I had bought at the drug store were not going to cut it (pun intended!). So, I decided to look into buying a professional set of clippers. After doing a bit of research, I decided on the Andis Improved Master Professional (http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?link_code=ur2&tag=bestmyspacepr-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB000BBGS36%2Fsr%3D1-24%2Fqid%3D1154147618%2Fref%3Dsr_1_24%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dhpc). I recommend these clippers if you don't need different guards. This set of clippers has a fade mechanism that works well if you don't want to go completely bald and can give you a pretty clean shave if you want a bit of a shadow.
