Title: D.C. - What's it like?
Post by: Axommamam on November 13, 2008, 11:04:02 AM
So I've been sorta-kinda told that I'll  on the agenda c trick a job in D.C. waiting for me when I graduate (don't ask, hunger hi). I planned on unfixed there after undergrad anyways, but this makes it more indubitably that I transfer pick up stakes and go to Washington.

I desire to find out unprejudiced inclusive info. more D.C. Basically, whatever comes to your mind. What's detached connected with it? Is it vibrant, lots of restaurants/bars/etc. around? Does it  on the agenda c trick foot transport agreat the lines of NYC or LA or Chicago (not with child it to be as leaden as those)?

I judge the underlying questions are "Is it a well-behaved view to busy" and "Do you/did you get high on living in D.C.".

Again, be aware without to ifiable bounce off whatever comes to mind. Thanks in advance.

LOL.. i had the same response.

Welcome to the forum Ax.  I don't know much about DC; never been or lived there.
Looking forward to hearing how you found this site and what your headshaving story is.  And if english is your second language, I'd suggest searching for a more accurate translator.

Take care, and good luck with your future career.

I understood everything he said for the most part. Just for kicks, I took this paragraph, translated it into Italian and then back into English.

Ho capito che tutto dicesse per la maggior parte del divisorio. Appena per le scosse, ho preso questo paragrafo, tradotto esso in italiano ed allora nuovamente dentro l'inglese.

I have understood that all it said for the greater part of the dividing one. As soon as for the jolt, I have taken to this paragraph, translate it in Italian and then newly within English.

Welcome to the Forum Ax!

I've never lived in DC but grew up just up the road from there in Maryland.

DC is the best and worst of the USA.
Amazing things to see like the Smithsonian Institute, the Holocaust Museum, etc..
There is also a lot of culture to be seen there.

BUT..... the crime rate is very high there. It's expensive.

I wouldn't live there for any reason.........

Maybe it is because I am from Montana, but I was really confused.  Please don't tell me that people actually talk like that.

Skiking...you surely have been ensconced all your earthly time here.  You need not be such a slugabed, do we have to limn you what the world is like today?  I have decided to edify your use of language, but we must be careful that we do not speak in verbiage.  Oh....do you hear that?  It's a tintinnabulation...must be time for me to go.  Good luck Skiking
