I looked at one of my posts and realized I am now the rank of "sly" and am no longer "sly jr." 
That joys me alot because I have been sly for a long time and didn't consider myself to be a "junior" because I'm no longer in college and my name is not the same as my father's. 

I'm pretty sure the rank is based upon the number of postings one makes.  The doesn't really require much merit but I am still glad to be sly and a member of sbg.    :)
