How many of you have been shaving for so long that you no longer know how much hair you have left or know what color it is? I'll bet a lot of guys are a lot balder and greyer than they realize.
-
I have no idea how much, because I have never gone longer that 2 days between shaves. But the shadow (or lack of) tells me that what is left is pretty gray.

i have more grey now than i did 18 months ago

I don't think I have any more grey but I definitely have less hair.
-
Ha...WAY more grey and really grey/white on the sides very little shadow there here these days...
shavin' it smooth is what keeps me lookin anywhere near young...
well that and good genetics and good looks! ;) :*))

I'm not sure....only been shaving 3 years and had gray around the temples but haven't let my noggin grow for more than 24 hours since....I think I have less hair than I did 3 years ago though.... :-\

I actually grew mine in a little bit to see if I was balding or not. I use to have dark brown hair, now there's red in it! and it's showing in my beard too!

Man, that reminded me of the time I had a "growout"(possibly for my wedding, but wife liked me better bald)...and THAT was 8 years ago....
I had about 3 months growth and i was finding my hair at my hairline had changed it's consistancy totally...it was kinda curly and not performing at all...i was going for a spiky, gelled up front faux-flattop looking style...
but couldn't get close!
I'm meant to be bald I guess! :)

That's a sign that your hairline was starting to recede. That started happening to me when I was in college; some of the hairs near the hairline would just curl up and wouldn't grow as long as the rest of my hair. I think that's when the follicle is starting to diminish and eventually die. It doesn't necessarily mean that you're going bald; most guys experience a little recession as they start getting a more "mature" hairline.

Being a BBC, I've still got plenty of hair. It is turning grey pretty fast. I can tell by my shadow, that it has receded a little on the top near my temples.
Going to stay sly though no matter what.

While my crown is not smooth-bald, it is not nearly at stubbly as my sides. Also I see less shadow on the top and crown. When I did grow out my hair a few years ago, photo and video showed my scalp when I saw the backside of my head. I am assuming that my head hair is getting grey as my beard is quite grey as you all know.

It's always lookin shinier.

i'm bummin'.
i shaved my mustache and chin strip and decided to grow it back.
problem is that it's all comin' in white!
arrrrrrrggggghhhhh!
should i invest in some sort of coloring sheme?
it used to be nearly all red!
Help!!!

Lefty,
Until about 2 years ago, I would color my facial hair when I grew a goatee and mustache. But when the eyebrows went gray, I decided to embrace the gray!

This was taken in July of this year, I shaved in August. The sides were pretty gray then but jeeesh, when I let some stubble grow out the sides look completely white, void of all color. The stubble actually glows in certain lighting.
