Hey everyone, just a guy from California looking for a place to find some support from those living the shiny dome sly lifestyle. I have not yet done away with my hair, but the day is coming. MPB is getting me at an early age, but I shall not use drugs, plugs, or rugs to hide it. You should see the gloom and doom attitudes of other forums full of dudes using the aforementioned methods to cling to the hair they have left. This place has a refreshing attitude.

hey jh: welcome 2 the sly fraternity. glad that ya joined us. do some research in the HEADSHAVING section of the forum: (your shave routine, what razor you use) 4 priceless tips on headshaving. if U have any questions... just ask us. remember not 2 use a cheap razor. keep us posted 2 your road 2 slyness.

I figure my Mach 3 will work just fine. I've been using it on my face since I was 13 and I've always liked it. But if you know something that will work better, I'm all ears.

Mach 3 is good for the face and can work good for the dome. I used it for a while when I started shaving the head. But for me the HeadBlade or the Schick Extreme works waaaaay better. I think it just depends on head shapes. As for me I noticed that with the Mach 3 and Fusion I would get more nicks and irritation than if I used the Schick Extreme. And I'm talking about the 3 bladed one that bends. Not that Quattro with the four blades. That thing scalped me when I tried it. Stay away from that one. But I think the Extreme one with the bending blades works well for me because of several "dips" and bumps I have on my head. I usually use the HeadBlade to start and then finish up with the Schick Extreme. Just go slow and take it easy for the first few weeks if you give the HeadBlade a try. But imo you can't go wrong with the Schick Extreme bendable blades. Good luck. O0

Hey: welcome to the forum.
Extreme 3 works best for me every time, and occasionally Gillette Fusion. I used to use MachIII but got more nicks and cuts than from the other two. 8)

Be yourself, some people look better with a shaved dome.
I have gone completely sly 3 times since july... its awesome... right now I use a Mach 3 as well, I am looking into the headblade
