hello fellow chrome domes: i was talking about this subject a couple of months ago with my brother-in-law. he told me that he orders his pizzas on the internet all the time & never had a problem with delivery. he stated it was much easier than calling the phone & being placed on "hold". anyways... i'm still hesitant about ordering a pizza on-line but i might have 2 try that one out. O0
so... how 'bout U? have U ever ordered pizza or take out on the internet? yes? no? please...tell us your story?

Living out in the sticks, as it were, we aren't overrun with establishments that have caught onto this.
Whilst working late at a customer in a city centre I did use a service to order pizza online.
Can't beat having loads of pizza delivered when you're working late in a deserted office building!

Papa Johns is the only place I have tried that with. I didnt have any problems...but here is what I did. LOL kinda defeats the purpose of ordering on line. I was afraid they didnt get my order so after I placed it online...i called them. They said yes Sir Mr Bateman...we have your order right here and its just now going in the oven. Is there anything else you would like for us to get you? I said nope that is fine..have a great day. See ya in a bit. 20 minutes later...it arrived at my door.

We've ordered a couple of times via Pizza Hut. It worked just fine. It was nice as well, because we could see all the deals/coupons online and decide what we wanted. Plus, got to confirm that our order was exactly as we wanted too. I'd definitely do it again.

NAH!!!! Whatever happened to personal interaction!!!!????
-
Nope, never have done that. I would doubt very seriously if they even have that option here in the sticks.... :-\

I tried it once with P John's and it worked fine. I'm just waiting until they can email me my food. >:D

im sure they can FAX it to ya

I have never tried ordering pizza that way. I've called in advance for pizza to pick up, but we usually try and dine out rather than bring food home. When we eat at home, 99% of the time it's food we've prepared ourselves.

Bro I thought it was the funniest thing when my younger brother found out about take out, his exact words were, "You mean they'll deliver it TO YOUR DOOR? " Hahaha ;D

I've ordered a couple times online and didn't have a problem! Actually I found it far more efficient than calling in.

Never tried it, but I am in the boonies

I order pizza online all the time and I love it. I prefer Pizza Hut. It's great because you can set up your favorites and then do a quick order without having to go through all the steps. I've ordered pizzas and buffalo wings - love their wings.
-
Pizza Hut is a no no around here. To me Pizza Hut is like McDonalds selling Taco's or something..Just not good pizza.
-
Nope ...we prefer the old fashioned way O0

Papa Johns is popular,, we have ordered online a BUNCH of times, works great O0

We ordered from Outback Steakhouse online and it worked great. That was our one and only experience ordering food online, though. Our local pizza places (small non-chain) don't have online ordering yet.
-
I do it all the time. Usually Domino's
-
Man, I'm real late to this one. But heck yeah, I do it all the time. I can't stand talking to places on the phone. I order the heck outta stuff online. Pizza a lot. Mainly from Domino's or Papa John's. But there are a few restaurants around here that have started to let you order online and then pick up. I haven't done that yet but I think some of the other sly bros have touched on that. I think Apple Bees does it now. I also think Chili's does it around the corner from me. Man, I'm getting hungry thinking about it. ;D

We ordered Pizza Hut online once, for pickup. I probably won't do it again.
I guess it's big with the chain's, but it's much more enjoyable going out to the pizzeria and sitting down, like Schro stated.
Back East, we have much more selection when it comes to pizza shops and restaurants.
We would also bring it in ourselves, or order on the phone if we decided to have pizza at home some nights.

I have ordered online from Donato's and LaRossa's with no problems.
-
Never done it
-
PIG! WHy not!

I order from Pizza Hut, Dominoes and Papa Johns all fairly regularly. I've found it to be a really convenient way to do things. Especially because you can set up orders to be delivered at a later time.
-
Hey Vash...good to see you active in here again..
This thread is making me hungry
-
I have done it a couple of times. It comes in handy when I'm in a town that I'm not sure whats around because they tell you if it available in that area and the order automatically goes to the right place for delivery

have been in the pizza biz since i was 15 and ordering from a mom & pop joint is so much better. support the local pizza pie place and you will eat a real pizza made with the personality of the owner and the people are what sitcoms are about. Take the CHAINS off and get to know your hometown pizza joint.
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
