Title: Timmj's Wife Kris

Hey all, just wanted to spread some good and exciting news.  My wife Kris entered a national quilting contest and she came in third place.  Her quilt work will be promoted nationally as well as in Canada.  For those who do not understand the value of quilting this is one of the highest honors a quilter can achieve.  She will be featured in a national magazine and possible television promotions.  GREAT JOB KRIS!

I guess I should note that this is just 1 block of many on this quilt.  There are a total of 12 blocks to complete this quilt.  All she had to do was submit 1 block.

Way to go Kris. My sister-in-law is a quilter, so I know all the time and talent involved in creating a hand-made masterpiece.

She is shy about it.  She doesnt want anyone to praise her she said.  I told her she was nuts.  Something like this is a big honor.  She even gave me the eye when I announced it tonight while we were packing our action packers.  She gets embarrassed easily.  Imagine that and of all people she is married to ME! LOL
