does anyone else have this problem? i go over it like 10 times and even push harder with the razor but it will NOT be as smooth as a babys butt like the rest of my head. the crown of my head will be a rough sandpaperlike feel. does anyone else have spots on their head that they have a hard time getting smooth like the rest of your head?
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
btw. im going against the grain

I feel the same stubble, fuzz, rough patch... on my crown. It also has a different sensitivity than the rest of my head. Weird huh?
-
ya. well as long as im not the only one lol.
-
You're def not the only one - no matter how many times I go over my crown I rarely get it as smooth as the rest of my dome - what really sucks though is I have a double crown so it's so smooth all over except for those two spots.
-
Same problem for me. I go over the crown in all different directions since the hair grows in a circle on the crown. That seems to work.
-
I don't have any hair on my crown so for me it's not a problem.... ;D

I suggest finding how the hair grows and going the opposite. If you have some Bald Guyz moisture gel try putting some of it on the area and while wet use a razor (mach3/fusion) to touch it up and see what angle the hair grabs. I found that if I go front to back then left-right and right-left its as smooth as ever. Now I just do it routinely and no issues O0

I thougth everyone knew that...lol I go in different directions too..
-
Yeah: different directions usually does it, but i have a double crown too, and it can be tricky. If I'm gonna slice the dome that's when i do it, making several passes over the same spot, so be careful! 8)

I think it's funny that the spot i have the least hair is the hardest to get smooth.
-
Belt sander.
Nah bro try Nair or something similar
-
the only way to do it is to change directions of your strokes, the hair grows in every direction on the crown, at least it does on me
-
What razor are you using? That's one of the reasons that I use the HeadBlade with the Sensor blades. I can't get smooth on the crown with the Mach3 and Fusion because the blades are not flexible enough.
-
i use the mach 3 turbo. im actually thinking of trying out the headblade though. im getting kind of fed up with how short lived the mach 3 blade is. i can only get about 3-4 good shaves with it until it goes dull and starts nicking my head. i spend so much money on new blades. thats one reason i shave every other day and not every day.
-
Same issue here and same solution as stated above. I have to shave in a circle on my crown. Try different directions.

Wait a few years and you'll have a permanently smooth crown, whether you want it or not. ;)
I used to have the same problem, but there's not much left to shave there these days. :-\
