Title: Do I shave it?

I have had a high hairline since I was a kid and now my hairline is receding. At only 18 I think it really sucks with the receding hairline, and in college looking good for the ladies is really important in this time of my life. I really am not sure if I should shave it or not I think it would look pretty weird (at least to me) do I do it? I would really appreciate any advice. Thx

Welcome to SBG!  Do whatever is going to give you the most confidence.  Though, I'd give shaving a chance. I really wish I would have when I was in college.

Dude............ you're 18 years old. I don't think I'd sweat the receding hairline at this point because it doesn't look like a big problem for you right now.

My hairline receded to about what you have when I was 16, then it stopped.  You have no reason to worry about your hairline yet.

buzz it down and then try shaving it, give it a few weeks and if you still don't like it grow it back out.  the sly look is a big confidence booster for me.  You may surprise yourself and find that you will look good with a shaved head.

First off...your hair is not that bad..

but if you're wanting to shave your head..

go for it, it'll look great...I think you'll look like one of our veterans around here Jdog once your bald..

he looked great..

Do it. Like Tyler said don't waste your time worring about thinning hair..

shave it and start livin'!

Welcome Hobo!!!  Don't agonize over the receding hair line.  Believe me, you are the only one who notices.  If you want something different go for a buzz or go all the way and shave it.
