I have been bald for three years now ..before I kept it clipper length.... I ran into ( pburke ) two days ago and he told me about this site... for me I get very mixed reactions to being bald ...some like it some stereo type or profile me .. I am 6'5 210 and a truckdriver..they see me get out of that truck bald head peirced ears and  tongue they look at me funny...but i would have to say the worst reaction I have had was at a local resturant..Tampico's I went to the restroom there was these two young boys playing in the bathroom I walked in and they stopped ..I stood off to the corner and waited till they were finished and they could not stop staring at me..I guess I really scared them ..as I walked out the restroom I could hear one of them say to there parents THATS HIM !!..that was very awkward but it comes with the look I guess..lol

Welcome Flattop!  I think many of us know what you mean about having different reactions.

So what? I'm 6'5", a Physicist, have a big eagle on my chest, plus eight other large tats, one of which is a sleeve. Often, when I come in, the other physicists quit playing...but they get over it.  You're a Knight Of The Road and I'd rather see a pierced ear than an ear with a device in it that suggests they're into themselves and not conversation. Drop by my lab, we can go terrorize some chemists.....

know some about physic's mainly use Prune juice, MOM, and then have a lady rub my shaved dome   :-*  ;) O0
