Title: What was the first razor you ever used?
Post by: Tyler on August 22, 2008, 02:12:55 AM
This would be the first razor you used ever, whether it was to shave your face, head, or anywhere else.

Mine was a Remington electric razor that my dad had.

I think I started out with an electric and pretty much used an electric all the time prior to going SLY.  Then the electric had to go in order to get a great shave on the dome.

I started using an electric razor when it got to the point where I had to shave every day.  Teenage acne and a blade are a bad combination.  Like you, I ditched the electric when I started shaving my head.

I first used Dad's double edge on the face around 1983 I suppose.  I don't remember ever cutting myself other than slicing off puberty pimples.

My first headshave was either a disposable bic or a Sensor knockoff, around 1997, can't really remember.

Its been along time since I started shaving my face but it had to be what ever cheap disposible my dad had lying around. I did use one of his DE's once and only once.

It was the HB sport for the head.

I didn't do too bad. Grandpa was a great teacher and I also got some pointers from my Uncle. O0

Used my dads disposable Bic.  White handle yellow cap double blade I believe??  not for sure.  It was probably back in ohhhh say 1983 or 84 the first time I shaved.

I stand corrected.......My father informed me the other day that the first razor that I used was his on Double edged razor when I was about 6 or 7 years old.....He had taken the blade out and let me put shaving cream on and shave with it.

I remember when I was a kid they had toy razors that had soap included. You put the soap on your face and shaved it off with a plastic razor....

Schick Tracer I think is what it was. I think I still have it at my mom's house. Switched to electric for a while, although that didn't last too long and I've been using my trusty Mach 3 for about 6 or 7 years now.
