The "Bad" of out of control political correctness and the decay of the military from a profession of "arms" to a job for pregnant mommies.

TOW Missle......naw, You havent lived till you fired the M-24 at a target and hit it at 900 meters or more.......

Post by: The Anvil on September 15, 2008, 07:33:50 AM: As an Air Force guy I am proud to say I have been lucky to fire (From small to large) M-9, M-4, M-16A2, M-203, M-79, M-14, M-249, M-60, M-240, M-2, MK-19, LAW, 81MM Mortar. I taught Desert Warfare at Nellis AFB, in Las Vegas for a good portion of my ten years, and had a blast! I have carried a wide range of those weapons on deployments all over South East Asia, and like I said I am pretty happy as an Air Force guy to have worked with so many cool toys and different branches of service! (I posted a couple pics in the before gallery, for all you guys that have been there, look close at the pic of my M-4 and uniform in Iraq, nothing on it but a blood type for that mission!) ;)

P.S. I don't get much sleep! Know what I mean?

I used to teach at the Air Force's Desert Warefare Training Center in Vegas, and an old bud of mine got us some range time. Bisping was a pretty good shot, but Rampage, well I will not speek of his weapons ability! (He wil knock you out though!)

Now that is one sweet weapon.....If I had the money I would have one of those.....Why I need one I have no idea...........just want one.

How about sinking barges with a Harpoon Anti-Ship missle?

Or a SM-2 ER that was doing mach 2.5 by the time it left the rail?

Or sending 5 inch rounds to the range at Viaccas (sp)??

Or obliterating drones with CIWS at 3000 rounds per minute??

That's just the stuff we did on MY ship... we won't even talk about battleships and the massive 16" guns... :x!

I think they are talking about weapons that can be carried into a battle.
