Hey all just wanted to say....Me and the Mrs Timmay will be celebrating out 16 wedding anniversary this Friday Aug. 22. I HAVE NOTHING FOR HERE AS WE SPEAK! Give me idea's on a gift and what to do for an evening of fun.

Timmy....Just remember that it is usually the little things that mean the most. Just treat her to a special night out and make her feel like the "Queen" that she is.
And if all else fails......flowers or jewelry usually do the trick. :@`

4th of August was our 11th anniversary and I did ALL the above, and got her a kitten.

Congrats Tim!!! A few years back I gathered up photos of the previous couple of years. I made Mrs. Koz a keepsake album with photos of the most important times over those few years. Photos of friends that had left this earth, family, and just everyday things that had meaning to just us. I sort of put them in chronological order and put mostly funny captions under the photos. Then I basically wrote her a love letter on the last page telling her just what was special about her to me.
Still one of the best gifts I've ever given her.

One Valentines day I wrote my wife a poem expressing how much she means to me...
She went freakin' nuts !!! Framed it and now it is on the wall of our living room.

Give her something that's hard to get .............. time away.
We have our 13th coming up next month, and I'm surprising the Lovely Mrs. Schro with a weekend away without the kids.
My brother is coming up and taking the kids for the weekend. I've made hotel reservations, dinner at the winery where we were married (her favorite restaurant), and scheduled an in-room massage for her.

WRONG WRONG WRONG!! It is about the US... not the YOU or ME. Now for her birthday or something else but not the ANNIVERSARY!! IT IS THE WE AND US!
Oh and FLOWERS SUCK!! They die, buy a PLANT/TREE.
Take a weekend trip to DIAMOND Mines and looks for diamonds!! Thats what I would want!!

Congratulations Timmay! I concur on the weekend away without the kids to someplace nice! You being in southern Indiana....there is a nice lodge in Tennessee in the mountains where you have your own private patio overlooking the mountains and your own hot tub! I don't know the name of it but a buddy of mine just went there on his honeymoon and I can get some info for ya! You can't go wrong with some quality alone time with the Mrs. O0

Hmmmm thats a good point, you need somthing you can engage in together as a couple. I think they make double ended sex toys. This might be just the thing to give your anniversary a little zing as well as showing your wife it's all about the "us".

No, diamonds DON'T fix everything.. and while they are nice and all.. and make for great family 'heirlooms'
I still think that something sentimental like Mike said would be better.. something to let her
know how much she means to you over the years, how much the pair of you have changed
and still you're together.. what you've been through, your children.. that's pretty awesome.
