Title: Even when you don't feel SLY smooth...
Post by: BALDANDRE on August 18, 2008, 04:28:13 PM
D@mn, dudes you can still look the part..

This pic was taken a couple days ago, when we had to hurry out for a day to the zoo..

I hadn't shaved my head that morning and hadn't shaved the face for two..

but look at the shine and not much stubble...nice to see I can still represent, even when I feel I let down the sly bro's!

I notice that sometimes myself. I usually do a double take.

A lady went to rub my head last week, and I was only working a few hours that day, so I hadn't shaved yet. She was shocked I had stubble. I frowned and told her she can check back later and I'll have it smooth just for her. Got some laughs out of it.

Yeah, I personally love is smooth, but I still look very bald when I have a little stubble. And it still shines.

Unfortunatley my hair grows so fast I could never get away with that.....I have no shine when I get up in the am and stubble is very noticable.....same with the face.....I guess that's why I shave everyday because if I don't I really feel grubby...... :(

Exact same thing happened to me about an hour ago. We were driving down the street and my girlfriend said " Your head looks nice all freshly sha......" as she was saying that she rubbed the side of my head and stopped mid-sentence. The she changed her tune and finished" Oh you haven't shaved today!"

Thanks, but the head was one day, the face two..

I wish I could go 2 days and the result would look
like that on the head! O0

I had one of  those killer Saturday shaves this weekend and was still pretty smooth Sunday morning, so I didn't shave at all yesterday.  I still looked completely bald all day long, but by bedtime I was starting to feel a little grungy, even though the stubble didn't really show.  By the time I got up this morning, I felt like I was sporting a full beard, and an MPB horseshoe and I could even see the odd hair sprouting out here and there on top of the dome.  It felt really good once everything was shaved smooth again.

The other thing I've noticed on weekends, when I'm debating about whether I'll shave that day or not, is that you may look pretty bald if you've only got 24 hours worth of growth -- but when you shave it off, you can really see the difference.  You don't get that killer shine if there's any sandpaper at all on the dome.  But I'm sure the rest of the world can't tell the difference.    :)

P.S.  I was thinking yesterday that BaldAndre would be berating me if he knew I'd skipped shaving for a day.  Glad to hear that he gets off schedule once in a while, too.   ;)

Sweet looking dome there BA.   Maybe Howard can put that shiny globe on his next marketing campaign.
