Hi,
Been shaving for quite some time (I'm sure a few of you know me at least). Typically have a goatee and decided to shave it off. Not sure how it looks gone. Here's a pic of me with the goatee and and a few days ago after I shaved it. Which is better? Should I keep the goatee off for a while or let it grow back? Only takes a week to get a goatee that looks like the one in the picture. Thanks.

Definitely keep it. You look like you're 12 years old without it.

Keep it, and quit rubbing it in about growing it in 1 week (jealous). If I could grow one like that, I wouldn't care if it took me a month.

I like both ways actually...you look great with both...
why not keep it nice and "clean" for the rest of the summer and let the goat come back for a fall and winter look to "warm up" the slick bald head...
one thing for sure..the bald head suits ya!
My vote I'd keep er' clean, it looks good...but you do look way younger!

For some reason you look really friendly with the facial hair. You look like a guy I would definitely stop and say 'hi' to. If that freaks you out, lose the facial hair. But it makes you look about 10 years younger...and maybe more.

I agree with BALDANDRE - I like both. And if it only takes about 1 week for you you can often change - just like you feel. :)

You grow a great goatee. Keep it. I agree with the other guys, without the facial hair you look extremely young.

J Dig, it might have something to do with the fact that snowpeck is slightly smiling in the goat pic and in the clean shaven pic the corners of his lips are turned down. I think Christian has the best advice to just change it whenever you want. I personally like your look clean better, but when i was little my dad would change his facial hair every month or so. It kept people on their toes and i think made them more interested in his looks just because they varied. So have fun with it man!

I'm not a fan of hair anymore, i hate shaving my beard and buzzing my head but it's worth it once I'm done.
To answer your question, you look much younger without the goatee and ofcourse a bit older with it. You look great either way. Go for the look you feel more comfortable with! O0

I think you look good both ways, but I'd vote to keep the goatee.
I use to have one but I got rid of it when it started going gray. I'll grow it back when it's totally gray, but the way it looks right now, salt and pepper, is not attractive.

I agree with smoothpate, either way looks good. You should just go with how you feel for a while and see what happens.
I have had a goatee for probably about fifteen or so years , and I always prefer having facial hair.
Recently I shaved it off because it had gotten so long, and the humidity is higher here due to the season. So now I let the full vandyke grow back (mustache and goat), but I am keeping it trimmed close.
it's really all about how you feel and what you're comfortable with. Like we say with shaving the dome; do it for you, no one else.

I don't mean to hijack but I had a goatee and I shaved it off because it was a little bit hot. Now I miss it and I think I looked better with it :Xo! It took me a month to grow too.
