You could always get a job at a place that requires a suit, like a bank.

In the summer if the occasion calls for dressing up I like linen suits, a nice coordinating t-shirt and of course, cool sunglasses.  O:O

I'm pretty much a jeans/shorts and t-shirt man myself but once in awhile when I do have to get dressed up for an event or for a dinner for my wife's work, I go to Men's Warehouse and I'll tell you, they hook you up!!  And it's not just suits and ties there either....they have a full array of casual cloths and they know how to get you looking sharp!  So if you want to upgrade the wardrobe, I'd suggest checking them out!  Like the dude on the commercial says...."You're gonna like the way you look"

sounds like your totally into the sly dressed to the nine type of look..

go for it and do things that require dress up attire...

and dress up for that wedding...

it shows respect bro...

and there is NOT enough of that this day and age...

you need to step up to make YOU happy dude!

You can dress nicely without resorting to a suit. Choose high-quality and stylish (though not trendy) clothing that fits you well.

And Red's spot-on... a summer-weight linen blazer looks great on just about anyone. I'm shopping around for one as we speak.

I agree with you. But I guess any young person who's not wearing sagging shorts and a dirty t-shirt is silly these days.

I wear a suit and tie for work all the time.  I love wearing smart clothes.  If I go out in the evening I'll dress up for it.  I may not always wear a tie.  It depends how I feel.
Unfortunately, I think I have a slob gene tucked away deep inside.  What I should really wear for practicality is a set of overalls.  And possibly a bib when I eat.  What the hell, most stuff cleans out (although often it is cheaper to buy a new tie than get the coffee cleaned out of the old one).
Wear what you want, not what you think other people expect.

I made a major discovery in TK-Max this week.  Daniel Hechter suits for less than £100.
I'd never been in there before but my wife dragged me in while she was looking for something.  She didn't buy anything and I spent a packet.

I like to dress well, myself. Button up shirts are a staple in my closet, but I don't really enjoy suits too much personally. I am ok with a jacket, but I rarely wear a tie. I used to get snazzed up to make pizzas, but I messed up too much nice clothing.

My absolute favorite men's clothing store is Bachrach (which I discovered when I went through my fancy clothes period). Pretty good quality for the money. Great end-of-season sales. The salespeople at my local stores are very good about putting together outfits for you.

You can come out of there looking well put together without coming off too stuffy. Some of their clothes are a bit "fashion forward" for my taste, but I can steer around that.

Ok bro..here's what might work for ya..

dress like the young Lex Luther from Smallville..

young and very hip look Lex has..and always dressed nice...I mean Smallville is made for the young crowd..

Nordstrom's  and Macy's have some pretty hip dress clothes for young dudes..

just leave the tie (although I dig wearing them ) home if you want a more of a hip, night club look! O:O

I started work at a bank at the age of 18 and had to wear a suit everyday.  Not only was it a great learning experience, but I met a lot of chicks being dressed up.

Here's the real deal though, it's all about how you want to be.  Make your own style.  I have a business partner that wears a coat and slacks everyday.  His style is more like the Yakuza suit worn in Japan, but it's a great look for him.

Just don't try to grow up too fast... suits are nice and the good quality ones are very comfortable, but one day you may look back and cherish the days when you didn't have to wear a suit.  Believe me, those days sneak up on you really fast!  Maybe wear a suit once or twice a week, wear some nice clothes on the other days... a good pair of khakis and a nice button up?

However, in addition to Men's Wearhouse and Joseph A. Banks, you can get decent quality suits (and some great quality suits) for reasonable prices at Macy's (or your local higher end department store), Kohls, etc.  Another place is http://www.kgsuperstore.com/kg/index.jsp (http://www.kgsuperstore.com/kg/index.jsp).  Typically the same quality as MW or JAB, but with better prices...
