Title: Headed to the beach soon.
Post by: Kojack on August 10, 2008, 05:21:25 PM
Just curious are any of the products better for your head than others?
This past week-end I went driving around with the top down, after a bit, I put on some Banana Boat Ultra Mist SDF 30. It seemed to work ok except where the mist hit the back of my neck it burned for a few seconds, I'm assuming because it gets very sensitive from shaving. Is there any product that would be better to use...preferably one that isnt going to clog the pores or burn in the eyes if I sweat. Are those mist type sunblocks cool to use on the dome?

I like the head blade stuff

it works great, but its only a spf15 so you got to spray it alittle more often

Hey Kojack,

I use the Coppertone Sport Continuous Spray SP15 everyday.

(https://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.coppertone.com%2Fincludes%2Fimages%2Fproducts%2Fitems%2Fm_sp_15cspray.jpg&hash=700ebe73025643ce7ff07ce8e5add89a9a9aba39)

Great protection and you can find it nearly everywhere. It also provides a great shine on the ol' noggin. O0

I second BJR's recommendation for Banana Boat with Dri Block.

I'll third that one.  But make sure you get the creme and not the spay-on.  I think it goes on better.

What exactly does the Dri Block do?
I saw the Dri Block one listed on Amazon and I see had it last year (The one in the orange can)
In fact I still have the empty can (It was the mist kind) in my beach bag.
I remember liking it, but I didn't have to use it on my head.
Do most people use the mist or the cream?

the BANANA BOAT "DRI BLOCK" SPORT spf 30 is a perfect sunscreen 4 the noggin'.   it is a "no slip dry lotion" that not only blocks the harmful uva/uvb rays but it also decreases an oily noggin'.  it kinda feels like baby powder after it air dries.  i highly recommend using this product.  O0

CUE SHIELD  is a 55 spf and is perfect for the fun in the sun.  Does not have heavy hypoallergenic that causes burn when you sweet.   I did lots of testing to get it to the the protective stage and does not clog pores which is very important. It also helps prevent premature aging of the skin.  Lets your head tan and have fun in the sun. O0
