Title: Special edition HeadBlade
Post by: slyinglide on August 09, 2008, 03:55:00 PM
I just saw that HeadBlade had put out the SPECIAL EDITION HeadBlade made of Stainless Steel.  Did anyone hear purchase one of those? and If so did they use it or just keep it as a collectors item, and finally if they did use it did it shave better than the regular ones?

I have one.  I used it for quite some time but I really couldn't tell any difference in shave quality.  As you might imagine, the weight is quite different.  The plastic ones seem easier to maneuver around the noggin.  I cleaned it up real good and put it back in its display case.

I should put it on display in the wife's curio cabinet.  I'm sure she would appreciate its beauty >:(

It would be a conversation starter if you place it in a display box and set it right in the middle of the coffee table.

Sure, 225 bucks sounds good to me.  That was what you said wasn't it? ;)

Actually I was offered $300 several months ago, but the guy backed out, which I figured he would.  That's pretty outrageous.

I have one and use it every time I shave.  I got it before they ever came out with the HB Sport.  My original one had no wheels.  The stainless steel version is truly awesome, but I've always been curious to see how it compares with the Sport.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it....

I have a HeadBlade Clear Sport Edition still in its package.
I'm getting such great results from my HB original, that I'm not really interested in opening the Clear Sport.

So, $75 for Clear Sport? ........................anyone?

That sound enticing, do you mind if I think about it a little?
