well... since the discovery of the internet... i haven't read an encyclopedia since the late 80's.
so... how 'bout U? did U own a set of BRITTANICA encyclopedias, also? when was the last time U read one? what's your story?

As a kid, I use to enjoy reading Comptons. Perhaps it was my love for history and all things trivial

I use and read Wikipedia on a daily basis. Does that count?

I was totally shot down there too... I'm on Wikipedia several times a day, for quick trivial look ups or self-edification. My parents have a set of encyclopedias from like 1978 or something in their basement, but I don't recall the last time I cracked one of them open.
Is reading a dictionary close enough?
