The Coen Brothers, Joel and Ethan, are a 4 time Oscar winning director/producer team and for more than 20 years I have been enamored by their film noir and screwball comedies.
They have a knack for using the same actors/actresses in many of their movies (Francis McDormand, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, John Turturo, George Clooney have been in 3 or more of their films).
Money is involved in most of Coens' films. The majority of the Coens' films are quite violent. In every one of their films, there is at least one death. Several of the Coen brothers' films feature a character that embodies the archetype of "unstoppable evil."
Their next film, Burn Ater Reading, stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney.
I am such a Coen Brothers whore, I just wanted to your opinion of their films...

Fargo is a cult classic where I come from. Right funny stuff there.

The dialog, the stories and the casting is just the nectar of cinema.

After reading the list I realized I hadn't really seen too many of their flicks.
I do know that Raising Arizona is one of the greatest movies EVER!!!
I'll have to check out more of their movies.
