Title: How does this become an addiction?
Post by: OneOfTheFew on July 13, 2008, 10:30:01 PM
I've only been sly for two weeks now.
I can't stand the feel of stubble, I mean I can't even leave the house if the noggin isn't 100% smooth.
I think I'm addicted to Head Shaving :@`...

I can see it now:

Head Shavers Anonymous

/ Hello my name is Tim
/ I've been shaving once a day for.....

It has even become worse since I got the headblade... I think about shaving twice a day..

Is this normal?

I don't have a shaving problem.

But I do like the smooth dome.

You're definitely not alone... I look forward to shaving, and have to force myself to limit it to once a day. To me, it's a reward and I cannot wait to do it every morning.

By noon I have enough stubble to want to shave again, by the time I go to bed it's very difficult to tell myself to wait for morning... but when morning comes, I'm ready!

Only problem is, the more I do it - the faster it's over.

It is definately addictive. Anything that gives a high soon becomes addictive, I think.  But as far as I know it aint bad for your health, so just enjoy the addiction! :D

I'm a perfectionist so ever since I started scraping the hair off of my dome I'm addicted to a completely smooth hair-free head. I keep a Braun in my briefcase for after lunch touch-ups.

I cannot and will not tolerate a velcro-head.  :x!
