:*))  Well, I'll be working Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, doing my part 'ruining' peoples vacation plans.  So many people transit through us to get to Buffalo and upstate N.Y. so it's going to be a VERY busy weekend, especially when you look through someones car, there is their list of things to pack and right at the top is 'Weed'

Well, it all gets destroyed.  it starts by getting analyzed and tested by Health Canada first then they incinerate it.  Contrary to popular belief, we don't keep it for ourselves, nothing we seize we keep, no matter how tempting it is to take those fireworks and light them off in my front yard...   ;D

WELL LOOKY THERE.  LOOK WHO CRAWLED OUT OF THEIR HOLE!  WB Warhawk you ol skank.. LOL

My plans for the 4th of July....spending the entire week at the park working a fundraiser booth selling food and drinks.  Washington has a week long celebration that will begin on Monday and last thru the 6th  Carnival rides, games, entertainment and etc.  Should be alot of fun if the heat and humidity keep at bay.

Our neighborhood always does a big potluck, so we'll go to that. Although it's going to be an early night because on July 5th, me, The Lovely Mrs. Schro, and our kids are boarding a plane for a week in

4th July?
The date rings a bell but I can't think why.
I'm working in the morning and then we have a company 5 a side football (soccer) tournament in the afternoon followed by a few drinks.  Nothing celebrationary about that on this side of the pond.
On the Sunday I have a day pass from the family to go and enjoy my bike.  I've got a 200 mile route planned with some stops for refreshments along the way (unless the weather is cack).

What Dave? You don't celebrate the 4th of July over there? ;D I mean, I would think that you blokes would love to have just one more reason to celebrate. After all, living the the great Republic of California, USA, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo (the 5th of May) a Mexican celebration of the battle for the state of Puebla, May 5, 1862, just so we have a reson to guzzle margaritas and eat Mexican food. :*))

Formez vos bataillons
Marchons, marchons
Qu'un sang impur
Abreuve nos sillons

So did you also celebrate June 24th?  Le St. Jean is the Quebec celebration day...  Those silly Quebequers have to do things different and on their own...  Oh wait, I'm from Quebec!

I work til 7, then when I get home we are having a big bonfire, fireworks and a BBQ party, its tradition, we already have all the wood and brush for the bon fire, its about 10' high and about 20' across so far. We are butchering a small hog and a steer as well as some chickens, we will have many people. Last year we had about 40 or so people over, friends bring their friends, there are always people we dont know but we get to know.

Ok, maybe I haven't quite grown up yet but a friend and I are having a blowout at his place.
Taking the DJ/KJ equipment, extra pair of SP3's, the acoustic and electric guitar  B@%d..he has the drum set, and we just dropped $700 bucks on MEGA-fireworks,and they gave us $175 bucks of free stuff!!! We will be waking the dead, seeing he is next to a cemetary, with around 30 or 40 of friends/strangers.
I am also bringing my special lounge chair so I can be comfortable when I wake up in the yard Saturday morning with a massive hangover, unless I end up in a tent asking "who are you again?"  >:D

Yep, time to embarass the kid again  :)

Ok....so this indicates that you are somewhere WEST of the Mississippi.  Am I correct?

I grew up in California choosing between 9 or a full 18.  Moved to Florida.  When I suggested we play 9 they looked at me like I was from another planet....never heard of it....couldn't conceive of it.

Anyone else heard of this EAST COAST phenonmena?

Here in Pa. we only play 9 holes when we take the son's out to play....... other than that 18 holes...... or an "extra" 9 after the original 18......

Robmeister, its because we pay for 9 and play 18... can't drink enough beers for 9, we are usually just buzzing right to get the game on at 9 $#*t

I'm on call for Friday night 7p-7a, but other than that, grillin' chillin' and drinkin' (except Friday night obviously)

My family loves camping.  We bring the kids bikes, and we always meet other families with young children and wind up all hanging out.  Campers are really laid back folks.  ya'll come by and have a beer!

Excellent $30 seats. He gets these freebies. He called during the Randy Travis show; he worked till 6am converting the place from country to classical.

I went to the riverfront with my best friend and got up close to listen to P-Funk. George Clinton came out and rocked my brain. It got crazy, I got a lil crazy, and this bald man danced and had some fun.
Sunday I think I'll go and hang with some friends after church. Call my family back in NY, and try to find a couple toiletry items I need.
