Obivously, keep the head shaved, but post a pic so that we can give you better guidance on whether to keep the goat or not.

It's hard to go wrong with a goatee.

If you have a wife/lady/significant other --  they're pretty good judges.

I just shaved on Dec 6th. I started to grow a goatee. So far people have said it suits me. Post a pic, and we will judge. We promise not to hold back.

Go for it.   A goatee almost always looks good with a shaved head.  In fact, I think most guys with shaved heads look better with some facial fuzz.  I grew mine a little over a year ago, mainly because I have a weak chin which the goatee helps to camoflauge.   I became a lot more comfortable about my appearance after I grew the goatee.  The bald head just seemed to draw attention to the fact that I didn't have the nice square jaw that I'd like to have.  It took me a while to figure out that the lack of facial hair was the reason the bald look wasn't quite working for me.

For myself most times I don't completely shave my head, but trim it down to a stubble on the sides.  So my question would be for a look like that, do you

A.  Grow a goatee
B.  Go with the rough stubble look on the face too.
C.  Go clean shaven

Decisions, decisions, just can't decide.

Try them all out, see what you like the most.  Then stick with that.

Below are pics showing rough stubble vs. goatee....my wife, my kids and I like the goatee.  CLICK TO ENLARGE PICS

<-----------As you can see in my profile pic--a little variation of the goatee--I prefer to shave the hair from my lower lip almost down to the bottom of my chin.  A little different from the shirtless pic.

:D :D Welcome, fcb2001. In general, I agree with Razor X, a goatee goes well with the shaved head, in most cases. But everyone is individual, so I can't give a definitive opinion without looking at your pic. I have worn a goatee or beard for over 30 years. Have a good new year, Professor Melon

I think David said he's using it to darken his beard.  I'm starting to get a couple little grey/white hairs popping in.  It might not be too long before I try it out.

Found out that what PigPen, I, Paulie and Lone Wolf here are sporting isn't technically a "goatee"

It's actually known as a "Van Dyke"...

A goatee is only on the chin =  not connected to a 'stache.

I found it to be an interesting clarification.
