Title: Is it better to ask for forgiveness than for permission?
Post by: ChadinSO on June 22, 2008, 10:32:53 PM

Ok fellows, here it is.

Right now I look more like this:  :px well, maybe more like this... :*)).

My goal is to go back to this:  :).

Problem is my GF will look like this:  >:( if I do.

So again, is it better to ask for forgiveness rather than asking for permission?

Forgiveness! You can always say that you're sorry and that you didn't think she wouldn't approve...

hahaha.

It's a matter of keeping my life stress free!  She's flat out told me, NO, don't you dare do it!

Gotta love those Russian women.

So I'm about to put an international peace keeping defiance order out there and do it anyway!

WOLVERINES!!!!

Yeah do it anyway. I would never let a girl/woman tell me whether or not I could keep it Sly or not. Then again, maybe that's the attitude that keeps me single...hmmmm....nahhhhhhh

Aside from the who-wears-the-pants argument...

I generally follow the ask for forgiveness side of things in many circles of venture.

When ya gotta or wanna get something done and you know it's "against the rules," you can get it done quicker and then say, "ooops.  sorry."

Too much friggen red tape with the permission side.

Remember this no matter what you do or say to make her happy, if your not happy she'll never be happy. If she does something stupid like leave just because you shaved your head then she is in it for all the wrong reasons.

I shaved my head tonight once again, always fun to take it off once again.  Pics coming.

BTW, I found my kahona's, they were in the corner of my closet.   ;D

FYI, I don't think it's being "whipped" to be considerate to your GF/wife, common courtesy of others (especially ones you love) goes a long way.

Nice to see you came back to the light!
So they were in the closet?  I thought the womenfolk kept them in their purses?

Absolutely....just a tongue-in-cheek razzin'

If there weren't whipped pups out there....the "magazine" wouldn't be so funny.

Some wives/GF's are just down right bossy, domineering in a VERY rule-the-roost, wear-the-pants, INCONSIDERATE sorta way.  I know a few.  Don't you?

I agree, if your girlfriend is going to leave you because you shaved your head, then she isn't the one for you.  You should please yourself and she should like you for your inside not your hair.  Stay Sly!!  It probably looks better as well.

Gotta love a man who doesnt ask for "permission".. who has a "pair",   do what makes you happy bro.
If you allow her to decide how to wear your hair whats next? Is she going to decide what color underwear you wear?
Nuff said.   :x!

I tend to gravitate toward the forgiveness side of things. But that's me.

I thought womenfolk kept the cajones on top of the fridge.

Happiness in a relationship is a two way street. If it makes you happy to be bald, then she should take that into consideration before she gets mad. Oh and.....go with the forgiveness thing.

Chad - you look better sly...but did you slip and shave off the Q-tips too? I thought those were a good touch!

And BTW....my DAD ALWAYS told me it was better (and easier) to ask for forgiveness rather than permission...
