Title: Pillowcase preferences
Post by: TekGod on June 20, 2008, 01:02:52 PM
I was just wondering if anyone has discovered a pillowcase fabric that is better suited for sly and slightly off-sly heads. I have a regular cotton (i guess) pillowcase, and it seems as though my head has trouble moving around on it. I have stopped shaving my head just before bed because it seems the freshly shaven areas on the back of my head become sensitive to grinding on my pillow all night.. Any thoughts, ideas, advice?

OK, I'm going to give you the metrosexual answer (stop snickering in the background, guys!).  The higher the threadcount, the smoother the fabric.  You could get serious and get satin.  The lady of the house would like that, I'll bet.

I have sheets that are made out of bamboo fiber - it is just smooth enough that my head never sweats when I sleep on 'em - got them at Target...they feel very nice.

Metrosexual.?

Yeah, it's a word recently coined do describe men who concerned for their appearance, or whose lifestyles display attributes stereotypically seen among gay men. Shows like "Queer Eye" sort of created these guys. They are obsessed with "product" and fashion.

My wife thinks I am a metrosexual. She feels I spend more on my hair care lineup, especially since I am not wearing hair anymore. HeadBlade, HeadSlick, all the before and after product, sunscreen, etc.

She's wrong, though... I am not obsessed!

(twitch, twitch...)

hey now....dont label men who have a broader knowledge in stuff like that.  My wife works in a fabric store and I can tell you a whole lot about thread counts and stuff like that.
