Hey everyone, I'm the new guy. I really appreciate everyone giving me encourgement on my newly bald head.
My wife hates it, my daughter hates it and pretty much all comments have been negative.
Please let me know if it is really that bad.

Sly definitely suits you a lot better! If you like it then don't worry about what others think. Give it time and they'll come to see that it suits you.

I guess they are just shocked by the sudden change... give them few time to adjust to the new image.

I think it looks way cool; head shape is good. It looks to me like you've lost about 5-8 years off your age with the new look. Let them hate you for awhile, and they will see how you feel about yourself. Guys should be able to change up their looks like just their their wives/girlfriends do.

I agree with the other guys. You look fine with me. Don't understand all the negativity. As for your daughter, she'a teenager, just the fact that her parents are breathing is enough to make her scream!lol :*))

I'd say especially at 44 years old. Just because you've reached a certain age doesn't mean you stop caring about how you look. If anything, it can make you more sensitive as you try to fight Father Time.
You need a little color on the dome and you'll be fine. Hang in there; it will be worth it.

I agree with the others. Not quite seeing the axe murderer there ??? I think you look much better and younger without the hair. I say try keeping it down O0 They'll get used to it!

Hey, Mike, Welcome. Glad you found us and decided to join in. I'm also 44 and I think it's a great age to make some positive changes to our lives and appearance. I definitely think the SLY pic looks better and "Younger". Take my word for it, the family will adapt and come to either like it or at least accept it.

Stick with the sly, Stem... My fiance wasn't big on me doing it, but decided it didn't look as bad as she thought it would.. If you like it, they'll get used to it..

Hey Stemikger, maybe your daughter doesn't like it because she knows that any boys who might want to date her are really going to be intimidated by your imposing new look, and THAT could be a very good thing!

I can't match the impact of MagnaBabe, but I also think the sly look suits you well. It's a cool edgy look, that makes you look alot more intimidating.

My wife wasn't too keen on the idea of me shaving off my hair. But eventually she's come around and wouldn't want to see me any other way.
Ain't no woman, like that one I got. To make her happy doesn't take a lot.
