Title: My One Year Slyversary
Post by: Sooner Steve on June 09, 2008, 12:34:51 PM
Yesterday marked my first year of being sly.

I justed wanted give a great big thank you to Tyler and all the rest of my SBG brothers who helped me in my transition last year from being a long time, frustrated hairpiece wearer to the completely content and happy sly person that I am today.

Without the support of you guys, I could not have made the change.

Thanks to all for your help  :@` :@`and I look forward to many more years of slyness and SBG.

Sooner Steve

Way to go Steve! You should have done it Sooner.  ::)

Pig Pen is there room in that hot air balloon. I'm burning up here in Boston. 92 and climbing. A ride over the harbor would certainly help cool me off.

Congrats Steve.  I still remember the weekend you first posted and were on the fence for a short time (if my memory is correct).  Great to see a fellow SLY brother make this milestone.

Congrats on your first year of slydom, Steve. I was fencer when you had done the deed.

You definitely helped push me along with your own story of becoming free.

Here's to your next year of smooth and sly!   O0

Rick:  Your memory is correct.  As I look back on it, that was a GREAT weekend for me personally.  As BJ said above, I should have done it Sooner.

Hey Exnewyawka.  Glad I helped you in your decision.  I have made a conscious effort to help anyone possible with this problem.  Being a former wig wearer, I developed a pretty good eye for who wears a piece and who doesn't.

Last weekend I went into Target and there was fellow sitting on a bench and I could tell he had on a piece.  He looked at me and I looked at him.  You could almost see that he liked my look.  I wanted to talk to him about going sly but did not do it because he sitting with his girlfriend.  I wanted to share the freedom with him.
