Title: MPB Question
Post by: Razor X on June 02, 2008, 01:42:56 PM
I think I'm getting close to being completely MPB.  I still have a thin coating of stubble on top, but if I let it grow out it would probably just be peach fuzz and barely visible.  I have just enough that I still have to shave the top of my head.  I'm wondering if the rest will eventually fall out or if this is it.  So those of you with MPB -- are any of you completely smooth on top or do you still have some resistant strays that managed to survive the MPB process?

I am completely smooth on top.  I can grow a little stubble but it is very, very, very sporadic on the top.

I have strays on top that are very fine. If I don't cut them for say 3-4 weeks they're more obvious and look straggly. Very few guys are naturally smooth without a few hairs here and there.

I still have some stubble pretty much everywhere, it's just very, very sparse on top.

Patchy, just patches on top, some areas in front are totally smooth, but I have like an "island" in front on the left side, then really sparce except for a medium sparce strip over the head above the ears, and a smooth patch in back--and I rub that smooth patch a lot!

When I got to be "really thin" up top is when I started to shave the top and leave the "ring".  After a year or so the hairs just stop growing.

A few strays and they seem to be the hardest to get.  They are right on the peak of my forehead.  No one will notice if I miss a few.

Now that you mention it, I went through a phase where I had some thin hairs on top that just would not shave no matter how many times I went over them with the blade.   They must have fallen out because it hasn't happened in a long time.  I'd totally forgotten about them until I read your post.
