I shaved my head yesterday for the first time. Today I feel the first stups comming out again and it twitches or it's itchy (I don't know the word) somehow. does that change after shaving several times?

Yes...... remember... you're scalp needs time to get "seasoned". (Used to being shaved)

It's called "velcro" after the fasterner system. Use a moisturizer or Aloe Vera after shaving to stop the dryness, and like all of us, stay smooth to avoid the stubble or velcro--be careful pulling off your shirt, it can catch! Also, I like Timmay remember feeling a numbness and cool "breezes" across the "shadow" area. And to say it again, as BaldAndre will no doubt add, "Keep it smooth!" You're doing great.

Ben, Just enjoy your first week. The numb feeling will also go away in a couple of days. I'd love to get that feeling back for just a little while.

So don't let it grow back. problem solved. >:D

I shave against the grain and I get these little stumpy things all over my head. It's the hair pushing back out of the follicle I guess. Anyway, my solution is to shave everyday.
