So I recently went Sly, and so far, only my close friends, parents, and coworkers have seen me with my shaved head. Well in July I'm going to a cousin's wedding, and so my entire family and all of our family friends will see me Sly for the first time. I'm a little nervous about it, just because I don't know what to expect. I just hope people don't make a huge deal about it and ask why I did it and so on. I do know one thing, I'll be looking pretty sharp with a clean shaved head and brand new pin striped suit on.

I wouldn't be surprised if people did make a big deal of it. However, since it's someone else's wedding, you obviously won't be the focus of the day (from that standpoint, maybe it's a good time to unveil the new look).
Even if they don't like it, I'm sure it'll all be positive. You'll probably be able to tell when someone doesn't care for it .........."Ohhhhhhh, it looks..........nice". ??? But pay no attention to them. Since it sounds like you're diggin' it, that's all that matters. O0
Be Prepared...........I can guarantee many headrubs from the lay-days. :@` If you're single, I think a wedding will be a perfect time for a debut. If you're attached, well hopefully the first mate is prepared. ;D

Schro: I'm definitely single, so I'm hoping some of the ladies love the look. I know for a fact the bride has some pretty cute friends that I wouldn't mind catching a couple head rubs from.

Word of advice, let them come to you, don't seek them out. Taking the plunge and shaving your head is a sign of total self-confidence, and ladies dig that. Just be the calm, cool & collected sly pirate dude (in the pin striped suit) 8) and they'll be knocking down the door!!! ::) Good luck! We expect a full report. O0

Hey James welcome to the forum.
You're shaved head will be a non issue. The day belongs to the bride and groom. Just make sure you put every effort that day to shave as close as possible. And don't forget to hold your bald head with pride aka Kevin Youkilis style. :x!
You may need the bat to chase a way all the brides maids.
Just be sensible dude and don't resort to such measures. O0

Thanks guys. Actually a lot of you make a great point. What better time to show off the new look than a day where the focus is completely on two other people. Great point.
