Hello I am new to the board and I am glad I found you guys. I recently stopped using my toupee after living with it for 15 years. I started off with the clips and then moved to the glue. Because I used clips earlier in my process I developed scar areas from where the skin was cut or the hair will not grow at all. I like shaving my head but when I do that the scars show up more their is one on each side about the size of a small quarter. If I grow my hair a little longer I can hide this but I rather not because I like the shaved look. Is there anything I can do about this? Scar creams? Scar reduction surgery? Anything?
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks Patrick

Scars are just a little "Dome Decor" (I believe Mojim or PianoMan coined this phrase... my thanks).

Welcome to Sly Bald Guys! There is now some product that is available in drug stores that is supposed to remove scars. I'll see if I can find it again and let you know.

vitamin E oil is suppose to help...you get the vitamin E capsules and you prick them with a pin and put the liquid right on the scar...see if that helps.
