Has anybody heard of this?
www.rollingrazor.com
There is a video on how to use this for face shaving, a head shave video is said to be coming soon. I'd be interested in hearing from anybody who has one and has used it and also get reactions to visiting the site and watching the video.

Rolling Razor — 'I'm scared. And scarred'
Those were the words of James Thornburg accompanying his link to this formidable looking new entrant into the shaving arena.
But don't take his word for it: watch the videos below.

I don't think I would leave my HB for that.
-
it has an interessting look.

I don't think I would leave my HB for that.
Agreed. I'm sticking with the Mach 3. That thing looks bulky and clumsy. and over-engineered.
-
Doesn't look like a headshave would be to easy. It is an interesting idea though.
-
Looks like a gimmick to me. I wouldn't waste my money on it.
-
Nope... I don't think it could do a better job than my HeadBlade! O:O
-
that's a pretty slick design however... i'm sticking with my fusion (manual)! O0 O0

that thing scares me more than disposables.
-
I'll try just about anything at least once. But not sure I'd pay good money for this thing.
-
I actually got really curious when i first saw it so I ordered one. I usually use Mach 3 or my electric razor (I totally hated the headblade).
I only used the Rolling Razor once before I made this clip and it was totally easy to use, gave me a great shave, it was faster and best of all- I didn't have irritation after I shaved. Anyways, I made a quick video of me using the Rolling Razor so you can see for yourself. I know I'm not holding it 100% correctly yet because I'm still used to sticks and clippers, but it still works great for me. I think you guys should try it and see for yourself. Its definitely not a gimmick. it works great.

Tyrese, thanks for the video. That will help me make up my mind.
-
Tyrese,,,,I'm glad you made that video!!! No offence, but after watching, it looks like there is too much potential for you to slip sideways with the blade and cause a NASTY cut!!! If you watch your video carefully, you'll notice where several times the blade doesn't even keep in full contact with your head, it looks like just the edge of the blade was donig any work.
I think that I'll stick to my HeadBlade, less risk of the blade slipping sideways accross my dome and cutting me open. The HeadBlade is much more stable. However I do give it props for looks.
-
I honestly felt in full control of the razor the whole time. it might look one way but believe me, there is no slipping issue. I took my finger out when i did the back shots, but i know to keep it in next time because it feels better that way. i'm not really sure why i did it that way, but it was my 2nd shave so i wasn't totally used to it yet.
Another thing to consider (at least for me) is that i shave my face and head at the same time. i cant do that with headblade. but even just for head this felt way better. but you know, to each their own. i just wanted to share my experience. Peace

Looks like a gimmick to me. I wouldn't waste my money on it.
Yup....... looks like snake oil to me.
-
Hmmm interesting Vid Tyrese. Thanks! But I dont know if I would buy into that
-
I saw that dude on Donny Deutsch's show called "The Big Idea". It looks like a sound idea and apparently enables you to switch direction at your every whim, but I think at the end of the day I agree with Warhawk---give me my manual Fusion. I just wish the blades weren't an arm and a leg ---you'd think they were made of gasoline instead of tungsten.
-
Think he may be trying to cash in on the success of Headblade ?
-
This guys did a better video than me. Might be the company did one after seeing mine (i know i messed up some of my shots cuz I didnt have experience with the razor yet).

Tyrese, I agree. Can you sue for plagirism...LMAO.
-
Has anybody else tried this thing out yet.?
-
I'm still trying to master the HB...so I'll hold off

that's a pretty slick design however... i'm sticking with my fusion (manual)! O0 O0
WARHAWK O0
amen brother amen!
-
No thanks, I'll stick with my HB.
Double the blades, double the cost. :/O
-
I admit...I'm curious. So far the Headblade is the best razor I have used for my head, but it's not to say it's perfect. The whole size of the headblade makes it awkward for some places and angles. And I can't use it for my face. Yeah, I have a beard, but my beard does have a line that I maintain.
-
ill stick to the headblade. O0
