Title: Squeaky Clean
Post by: GASlick on May 15, 2008, 09:24:28 AM
I have recently noticed something.  When I am in the shower shaving sometimes I will go over a spot again just to make sure everything is smooth.  When I bring my fusion over a place that is already shaved   IT SQUEAKS!

No kidding - my head squeaks.  Crazy ain't it?  Does this happen to anyone else?

Me too, but I'm a sink shaver, and I think it's from all the "equipment" around the blade.  I like it. Usually if I'm having a problem with a stubborn area, the base of my old cowlick I guess, I know it's gone when it squeaks.

I've noticed that, too, Slick!
I swap using Fusion and Mach 3, but have had that squeak deal happen. Let's not tell Gillette. They'll market it as a new feature...an audible, electronic reminder that you're done shaving, and tack on a few bucks to the cost of the blades!

I've gotten the same thing before. It think it is from the rubber pad on the Fusion blade rubbing across the smooth skin on the dome.
