He did a number of westerns like The Professionals and Once Upon a Time in the West and was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in Spartacus in which he had a fight to the death with Kirk Douglas. Mean lookin' dude. Before acting he played college and pro football (LA Rams) and was also a decathlete. His first movie was Sundown in 1941. Last appeared in the Quick and the Dead which was released after he died in 1994.

Yul Brynner was the most important, his look was a reall innovation at the time,
even if didn't get many followers...

I think that watching a movie with Yul when i was a child could be one of the reasons
that put in me the wish to go bald...

For me Otto was the man behind the movie. I don't think I ever saw him on film 'til I was older. Although everyone knew his name I could've walked past him on the street as a youngster and had no idea who he was.

I saw a photo of him with hair and it was ugly.

He had sort of a bald James Bond thing going on. Then again, I guess James Bond was actually bald when the movies were made ( I think Connery wore a piece).
