hey all, some of you know ( because you were in here last night) I was on here wayyyy too late last night....I think it was 130 when I finally signed out.....anyways...you know what the means. Well the wife overslept too and this morning we had 4 people trying to get ready all at the same time. We got up 10 minutes before the bus got there and then my 15 year old decided 10 minutes before we were to walk out the door she need a shower! I was YOU DONT HAVE TIME! WELL IM NOT GOING TO GO TO SCHOOL LOOKING LIKE THIS...LOOK AT MY HAIR... I sarcastically told her to just shave it off and lets go! lol
So how are your mornings when you get up late? Do you rush around like mad men or do you just say oh well..sheet happens??
-
If I ever get up late, take cover. That means the apocalypse has happen and hell has frozen over.

Wasn't here... Never get up late... (https://www.slybaldguys.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fbestsmileys.com%2Fpeeping%2F1.gif&hash=e4a2416d589a8194419f9e4a077522876dd58bfd)
I usually just take my time because when I rush, the day just becomes too stressful. g@@4 I am salary so if I have too, I can just come back home after dropping the kid off at school. And our house mate, well she can wait!! Or get up earlier. Because the way I see it, if I don't have a job, she wont have a place to live. D*0g

The Army cured me of getting up late a long time ago.

Same here

My body's internal alarm clock will rarely let me oversleep. It just doesn't happen very often. The times that it has, it has only been by about a half hour and I just made up for lost time.

I have to set three alarms. The first two go off within 10 minutes of each other and the third is a clock radio set to go off to music with the volume turned all the way 15 minutes after the second alarm, in case I sleep through the first two alarms -- which has been known to happen on a number of occasions.
-
I don't really sleep in late. I do sleep through my alarm clock once or twice a week, but i still get out of the house in time.
-
I only set one alarm clock - but I think I have OCD as after I turn the alarm on I go back and check to ensure I really turned it on about 10 times each night before bed... The calls it my ritual!
She can laugh - as I'm always on time to work!

I'm laughing as I'm reading this because I do the same thing. Could be OCD. The few times I didn't double check were the times that I overslept.
-
HAHA! I'm the same way, I check my alarm clock atleast twice to make sure it is set properly. I always worry that I set it to 6PM instead of 6AM... that's happened before. :*))

;D i'm having one of those cheesy grins because i check (alarm clock) and double check one more time b4 i go 2 bed & sometimes i'll do it a third time just 2 make sure. :/O ;D O0

I have an alarm; but have it set on some music mode (classical music), so if it goes off, it's not as mind deadening :D
The few times that it has gone off aren't too bad, but usually I get up before it and turn it off. :x! :x!
On weekends, I've tried to sleep in (until 7 AM), but the body generally tells me to get up, or my four-footed friends (man's best) are looking to go out well before then. They know that I'm the one who will take care of them, so I'm the one they go to, if they need to go out, or anything else. O0

I don't have too much of a problem waking up late. I make sure that I get physically out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off, otherwise I can drift back to sleep... Hasn't happened in a while though.

that is why i statred using military style time. no confusing 600 with 1800.
-
Yeah, but you can't teach most alarm clocks the difference between 0600 and 1800! :/O Usually they only do the AM/PM thing; or worse, they'll have a dot to light up for one or the other. :x! That, and the spouse unit doesn't want to look at no 2100. "Honey, what time is that?" "Time to go to bed, dear." ;) :@`

why do we even need clocks...we should just live and work our days when the sun comes up and the sun goes down....

The socialist approach - lol.

I'd like to go to sleep when I'm tired, but I don't think I'd last too long at my job. ;) Besides, someone might try to turn me into a message holder and put sticky messages all over me while I was zzzz-ing away :XX
-
pfffttt I have a one year old!!!! If I had the opportunity to sleep late I would take my sweet time!!!
But pre-baby I would rush like mad to get to work on time if I slept in....which was hardly ever, I cant stand lateness!
