Title: Michigan Headblade price suprise
Post by: nla-entertainment on April 26, 2008, 07:29:02 PM
Those of us in Michigan know Meijers (predates Wal-Mart).

How's this, 4 blades, 2 blade mounts, 1 "caliper".  $6.09, regular price, 2 bucks lower than the Headblade site.

I had great results with the 3 blade cartridge that came with the thing, so I figured I'd pick up a pack of Atra blades. Duh, imagine my surprise.

I spent many a late night trips to the 24 hour Meijer in Toledo. They are a great store. Great place to stock up on Dickies too. I bought a heavy Carhartt hooded winter jacket there for 80.00 which was selling for 120-130 everywhere else

Meijers ROCKS!!  I wish we had one closer...

THE original one-stop shopping!  Well before Wally World came out with the "Stupid" Wal-Marts...

No Meijers here but I should add that Northwest grown Fred Meyer had one stop shopping in the 1920's or 30's.  Food, Clothing, Drugs, etc.  I used to work for Freddy's back in the late 70's to mid 80's.  I like them much better than Wal Mart.  It is kind of similar to Target in their demographic.  But unfortunately they don't carry HeadBlade.  But they do carry Kiss My Face shaving lotion!  :@`  Fred Meyer is now owned by Kroger.
