i understand the chemical process. but why is it WET. that would be because when someone was making up the english language, they decided that wet was a good word for how it felt. don't overthink it. j/k Since i have spent the last two days in a hospital, i did a little survey. i asked a few doctors "Why does a guy that shaves his head bald have to wear a cap in surgery. they all agreed that it was a good question, but other than "following conventional procedure", they did not know a real good reason. i love messing with smart people's minds.

thanks pp.dad is ok. the surgery was delayed until yesterday, so i spent the night at the hospital, but it went well. it will take some time to see if it was a success or not. the doctor said it is possible that he will heal better but we just don't know for sure yet. i guess all we can do is wait and keep him in our prayers/thoughts. how are you feeling? everything go good?

The insulation covering the wire protects them - also, on bare wire, the current can pass through them and meet no resistance. I've seen a squrriel hit bare wire while part of their body is still on that covered with insulation. Can you say "Dinner"?

But the real reason is that there is no current path to ground... 'lectricity needs potential with a positive and a negative (or ground) for current to flow. When the squirrel is on the wire, there is no difference of potential, so no current flow, hence, no dinner!

Don't know 'bout the rest of ya...but this is the first I've posted with a little buzz. It's my wife and my 14th anniversary so we went out and I had a martini or two...or three..
Believe it or not, I've not had an alcoholic beverage since just before Halloween.....and I joined up with y'all on November 8th. I knew this business "thang" was coming up and I needed to stay as focused as possible.
Been quite stressed out about the whole thing.....But tonight I decided to R-E-L-A-X.
OH, by the way....our bartender was a chromer and I told him (wrote it down for him) about SBG and encouraged him to log on.

Didn't know if it was called "handlebar" or "fu man chu"....but I got the idea from Chuck Liddell (UFC champ). All ya do is take a full goatee and shave a stripe down from the lower lip down the neck.
Unfortunately the wife doesn't like it as much as the goatee.
Qualification: Not that she won't let me keep the handlebar, but that I respect her preferences.
(need to stay out of Whipped Magazine)

Yeah...gotta go through the good, the bad and the ugly. Sometimes it's REAL ugly....sometimes it's super AWESOME...it's the whole mix that pulls it all together for a great bond if you are determined to let it make you BETTER not BITTER.
Try not to argue or yell at each other in front of the kid(s).
Try not to yell period....I'm a screamer too.
Try not to go to bed angry at each other.
Show affection to each other in front of the kid(s)...it REALLY makes'm feel secure when they can SEE mommy and daddy love each other.

Went out in public sportin' the new slick noggin yesterday. (Before this, I've sported a baseball cap to cover up the pale).
Anyway, I was at the mall to get an eye exam....and had this hankerin' to walk into a hair cutting place (Fantastic Sams/SuperCuts) and mess with them by making an appointment.
I didn't because I couldn't come up with something witty to say...a couple I was thinking of were:
"I really need help with this rag mop up here"
"I'd like a shampoo only....no haircut"
"What can you do with this?" (pointing to noggin)
"Is the coffee for customers only?"
Any other ideas?
