I was fanatical like this for quite some time but I found my scalp would get red and irritated. I need to wait 2 days in order for the hair to grow back to get a proper shave.

I can't stand the stubble at the end of the day, I will shave twice a day if I have something important going on in the evening

I have a horrible shave today...it fits right in with the rest of the day.  It's like I missed the whole backside of my head.

Ty we all have our "Bad Shave days", I've had quite a few myself. This usually happens when I dont shower before hand and the hair hasnt been softened enough.

its gotta be smooth

I've gone back several times to fix it before I even leave the house.

Oh, yeah - I know what you mean.
I don't know whether it is the spring weather or something, but my "hair" seems to be sprouting faster than usual on my head and face.
I've got a 5 o'clock shadow and its only 1!

Smooth is the way to go for me too.

I shave in the morning and the stuble is there when I get off work.

I hear ya' brother!  one of my many measures for how good a shave I did that morning is rubbing and slapping the back of my skinhead and my "cop idiot rolls" at lunch time for stubble.  It should be completely slick.

By the way, "idiot rolls" are the rolls of skin where the back of a shaved head folds up over a shirt collar. LOL  They look pretty cool on cops(at least thats what Ive been told. lol)

Love the smooth feeling, but I've got razor burn from my first sloppy shave still so I gotta take it easy on my noggin. But I just hate that stubbly feeling all over the head! Ugh! Especially when I lay down to sleep.  Last night I shaved the back and sides of my head a little after I tried to sleep and couldn't because the feeling of the stubble rubbing on the pillow kept bugging me! Luckily the razor burn is only on the top and not too noticeable.
