Hey all, now that the weather is starting to improve ..at least here in SW Indiana it is....how haveyou all been feeling? I will admit that I was getting fairly dragged down. It was a long dreary gloomy winter for us here. Not very many days with sunshine. Well the sun has been shining brightly here for about the last 4 days and it has been great. Everyone needs a little sun to get rid of the blues, and I had the blues bad. I love this time ofyear because it seems like I am constantly outside doing something. Like today, I had decided to take the day off after work and not work on teh siding any.....what did I end up doing? Well I started raking the yard...jsut because it was soemthing to do out side. So how are you all on working outdoors? Do you like to be out more or inside more during the summer?

The weather is still trying to figure out what season it is here. I know I've already told this to Timmyyyy, but today I got tickets given me to the Royals home opener. It was in the 40's and raining. It wouldn't have even been good football weather and definitely not good baseball weather. So, after 2 innings, me and my son moved the game to the Applebee's where we watched the rest of the game on the big screen.
I'm still waiting for spring. :Xo!

Hell Timmayyyy, I am already tired of working outside. Looks like I need to cut my grass again this weekend. Its like some kinda ragweed or something, can't even kill it. My neighbors always go, wow your grass looks so good, what do you put on it. I tell them I piss on it and use roundup grass killer!!!!
The stupid rain needs to stop so the stuff will quit growing :Xo!

With the travels I do, the weather changes do not bother me as much as they used to..I may be in Florida one day and Alaska the next, so my weather can change daily....

Last weekend was the first weekend with temps over 60. I grabbed a buddy and went golfing. It was great to be outside after being cooped up all winter. After a great warm sunny weekend it's going to SNOW! UGH >:(

Spring is late arriving here in the east. Tomorrow is the first day that the temperature is supposed to be over 70 degrees.
I'm an outside guy and i like it hot!! In the 90's for me............

I feel like it's winter. We got 2 inches of snow last night here in north central WI and we're supposed to get 4-6 inches Thursday night.

buddha...im glad all the snow is keeping bay up in the north. We dont need any type of percipation of any kind down this way at all. I really am enjoying the spring storms and just the warmer weather down here for sure.

Mike, c'mon out here, you would love it!, we've been in the upper 80's for the last week and a half, and even hit the low 90's for a couple days too. :)

it snowed 3 in at my house yesterday, yup the weather is improving

Weather is steadly improving here in NC. Today was in the upper 70s. The warmer weather and sunnier days surely improve my general mood!

Time for a northwoods weather update.
Yesterday (apr 26) we had snow on and off all day. Temps were down around 30 and we had occasional white-outs. Only got about 1-2" accumulation because the ground was still warm from the day before. Temps up some today, most of the snow is gone. I love springtime in the northwoods.

It was nice here today, but not as nice as it should have been for this time of year. The wind had a slight chill to it..due to teh fact that a cold front moved thru late Friday night. Speaking of Friday night....we had another 4.0 earthquake again .....24 earthquakes and tremors so far all together. Tomorrow is suppose to be rainy and cold. We have once again shut all the windows for the night...but it still feels good.

We hit 70F today. It was perfect, not too much wind. Too bad it's gonna get hotter.

Yes Buddha ...Indiana. Earthquakes arent for California anymore bro. Our first earthquake was last friday...at about 430am and it was a 5.4 then about 7 hours later we had another 4.5 and many small one since then. They said we have had a total of 24 . I live about 20 miles from the Wabash Fault line...that runs just directly north of the New Madrid Fault. This Fault line is the one that changed the course of the Mississippi river back in the 1800's

I've heard of New Madrid. If not mistaken it terminates up around Chicago. I'm not familiar with Wabash but I had no idea that there were any active faults in the Midwest.
Have you sustained any damage as a result? I hope not. I have no idea what it would be like to be in the middle of a 4.0 let alone a 5.4.
