Title: How do you trim your hair?
Post by: Tyler on July 28, 2006, 12:53:40 PM: Before I went completely bald, I used to trim my head with clippers. I started by using a clipper that had different guards. I eventually went to a professional clipper made by Andis. Though, this razor did not have the guards. Instead it had an adjustable blade.

What are you using to trim your hair?

Post by: skitch on August 19, 2006, 03:25:23 PM: im using a big red pair of Osters that i got for 10 cents at a garage sale. bargain! i bought three blades to fit onto it,and the sound of it whirring as it passes over my head is a thrill that cant be ignored.

Post by: Yeti on September 24, 2006, 11:28:28 PM: I have a real nice CONAIRÂ® full clipper set with cape and all, that mostly I use on my 8 yr old lil guy, who like the crew cut, hehe, not-so-much needed here anymore... unless I get lazy for a couple weeks and the wife says "Honey, you really need to shave your head."Â Â lol ouch!Â Â :D

Picked them up at Wal-Mart for about $15 including guards and accessories and stuff. It runs on two AA batteries and I change them about every 4-6 months. Depends on how much use they see.

Post by: Robmeister on November 12, 2006, 03:30:19 PM: Wahl Designer. Have had it for 7 or 8 years now to keep my beard or goatee in check ("long" #1 guard). Also to keep the hair short (#3 on the sides - #4 on top). Will use it on "short" setting, no guard, in preparation for the Headblade chromedome shave.

I just use a standard hair clippers set to the lowest setting about once a week. Gets it nice and short.

happyharry, wrong Gaelic but close enough :) That's Scottish Gaelic I believe. In Irish we'd simply say "dia dhuit". Nice gesture, go raibh maith agat (thanks).

There's 3 actually, Scottish Gaelic, Irish and Manx. :)

Well, at least I have improved after 5 semesters of English classes (yes, some of them were repeated class, and all lower division).

W, in your neck of the woods there are quite a few bars that take quite a bit to get kicked-out. Speaking from experience. ;)
