Title: Bald for 8 days so far

I've been wanting to shave my head for about 10 years now.  Finally took the plunge 8 days ago--glad I did!  I love my new look.  My hair started thinning about 5 years ago and I've been keeping it somewhat short in order to avoid appearing to be trying to hide it with a combover.

I've mostly gotten surprised/shocked reactions, followed by generally positive comments.  One lady I work with didn't recognize me in the parking lot and kind of acted like I might mug her LOL

Anyway, I love my new look.  Just need to get some sun on my dome (but not too much!)

Welcome bro and congrats on the new you.  You will receive some mixed comments for a while but usually people get use to it and end up liking it.  If they don't then those are the one's you just don't worry about.  Listen to the positive.   O0

Welcome to SBG!  Lance is right, you'll get some mixed reviews, but all-in-all they'll be positive for the most part.  As long as YOU like it, doesn't matter what they really think anyway!
