hello fellow chrome domes... just wondering... has anyone else shaved your dome besides U? your barber? wifey? gf? bf? significant other? brother? sister? if not, do U plan on asking your wifey or significant other 2 "do the deed"? or do U plan on going 2 the barber?
i'll start: my wifey shaves my dome 50-75% of the time. the other times... i shave myself. on a few occasions, my barber has shaved my noggin'. so... how 'bout U? what's your story?

Probably not a chance of that happening. I am up, shaved, and out the door before anyone else in my house gets out of bed. Also, I have never let it grow out enough to warrant a barber shave.

Before I went Sly, my barber would take it down to 0 at times..That's when I said "Hell with that, I will do it myself"
Besides that, I have done it all myself.....I save my wifes shaving skills for other areas... ;D

You have other areas? LOL.....
No one has ever shaved my head other than myself. I would be too afraid they wouldnt do it perfect enough....

Being so new to it, it's been all me. I don't know if I trust someone else with a blade up there.

tom...thank U! i thought i was the only one. c'mon guys set a date 4 your wifey/significant other 2 shave your dome. rick... since U are the 1st one out the door on the weekdays, U can set a date this weekend. O0

It feels weird having someone else shave your dome, because they use a different amount of pressure than I normally would.
I had cuts all over the last time, so it's just me from now on.... they can rub it after!

Have had about 5 different barbers do the deed one time or another....
most times it's been a great, perfect shave...
and cool experience! O0

Funny you ask, WARHAWK.
Just had my first barbershop headshave on Friday. I hadn't shaved/cut the dome for over a week (busy with work and travel). Went to the barber with my 8 days of growth and he had no one in the shop at the time, so he asked if I wanted a head shave instead of the normal #00000 blade. Never had one before, but took BALDANDRE's advice from awhile back and decided to go for it. One word: awesome! And only $18 (plus a good tip)...kind of a nice splurge treat if you ask me. There was some serious shine going on, too.
Very relaxing...I recommend it. Midway through it (following hot towels, etc.) one guy with some fringey MPB who came in the shop commented on how he'd love to get his head shaved but his wife would kill him. Said his head wouldn't look as good as mine, and that his would look like a bag of walnuts. I told him I started out going shorter and shorter and you get used to it. My barber reiterated it, too. After I left, told him to just go for it. So maybe I helped my first recruit to the SLY side!
Next time I go, I want to get a picture of it so it can be my new avatar.

nobody shaves me but me at the moment. The first time i shaved, a friend did it, but now, i'm doing it on my own.

My barber used to do my buzz cuts, but I realized I could do that myself. No one but me has touched my head since.

Before I was married, my wife to be wanted to shave my head. I never let anyone shave my face and certainly didn't want to let anyone shave my head. I told her to wait 'til we tied the knot, hoping she forgot about this request of hers. I believed that having a lethal instrument in her delicate and unsteady hand would make me very nervous. She was persistant about shaving my dome and I eventually caved and let the little lady put the razor to my head. I discovered that she has a steadier hand than mine.. no nicks, no cuts, just nice and smooth!!! So every once in a while I indulge her and let her do the deed. O:O

My brother-in-law shaved my head for the first time with clippers and then a couple months later my dad shaved my head with a Mach3 when we were in Hawaii. I also had my head shaved with a straight razor at the Art of Shaving barber in Las Vegas.

Unfortunately as my head decided not to grow hair anymore other areas took up the slack.. :'(

Maybe. But I would definitely have to let her use a regular razor like my old Mach 3 or Schick. Cuz there's no way she's getting near me with that HeadBlade. It took me too long to get use to it.

Just my barber. I occasionally go in for a hot leather straight razor headshave. He does a good job' Goes over my head twice against the grain. Still not as smooth as I can get but great experience. Enjoy being in the chair, head lathered up and answering the questions from the long hairs waiting to get haircuts.

Aww c'mon guys, THE sexiest thing in the world is sitting on the bathroom counter in just a pair of panties and having my boyfriend straddled between my legs while i slowly and lovingly shave his head bald...takes me about 45 min because i enjoy that sooo much... its one of the things I miss most about being single again.
Shaving heads at work just isnt the same as in a private setting at home with my sig other, but I still love it either way!

I had a girl shave my face once. I won't lie, it was pretty awesome. Ended up straight in the shower after. As far as my head, never had a girl shave it, but I've only been shaving my head since March.

Only women barbers are allowed to touch my head! When it's good, it's great; when it's bad, it's still pretty good!

Well, three times to date for me. The first two times were in my pre-Sly days when I did the COPS For Cancer fund raiser and that was up on a stage in front of a whole group of people and they took me from about 2 inches of hair right down Sly. The third time was just 2 weeks ago. I was in the mall on a Saturday afternoon killing time before meeting with the boys for some pints on a patio and I passed by this salon and there were the 4 women who work there just standing around with no customers. Since I didn't shave that morning I thought hell, I'll go in and try it. It felt great to just sit back while this lady shaved my dome. Lots of people stopped by and just watched. It was great and I'll definitely do it again!
